The picture looks right. I used an auto degreaser. I didn't use water, probably wouldn't get any of the grease off anyways. I avoided water because I was afraid of the rust potential but that is just a guess. I used the white lithium grease because it was recommended in a previous thread...- snoopy050

I hope I can explain this correctly. The problem is not really the transfer roll. Look up how to remove the transfer roll: www.office.xerox.com/userdoc/P740/consum.pdf Page 8 of the instructions shows you how to remove the transfer kit. I keep getting the Jam A and Error 33. I've read your threads and I got as far as getting the plastic cover off the circuit board. What exactly is "the plastic clutch"? Is it the thing that is labeled "magnetic clutch"? Can someone give me details on how to get the clutch off? Do I need to...- snoopy050
