Thanks Linney,
I found the reg file on the Internet but I don't know if it was from a SP2 or SP1 machine. I myself have SP1 and I've chosen to stay that way because of compatability problems.
I checked the registry values manually and went through each one.
Only on the last 2 entries...
The problem is, I've located 2 lines which are different from the values above and my own registry but when I try to change them or add another value, it tells me I'm not allowed.
How am I suppose to get around that?
WK
I have just returned from Safe Mode where, when I clicked on the reg file, it said "Error Accessing Registry".
After that, I booted back into Windows normally and the theme still reverts to Classic.
How do I check access permissions on the reg keys?
The manual process is a bit over my head as...
ok, I did that and it worked with the first file but the 2nd file popped a box saying that "not all data was successfully written to the registry. Some keys are open by the system or other processes."
How do I run the reg file with none of its components running in the background?
JH
No, it doesn't have that. What should I do?
here is the 2 files I found.

"NoDispScrSavPage"=dword:00000000
"NoColorChoice"=dword:00000000...
It probably is registry corruption.
The other 2 accounts on my PC work fine. I am the administrator but my Win XP theme is not showing up on reboot.
I found some registry settings from teh net which I copied into Notepad and saved as themefix.reg but when I click on it, it tells me that its...
Thanks Linney, I managed to sort out the Wireless Networking Issue with a new Driver.
I haven't dabbled in Group Policies before. How do I access it? Where do I go?
WK
Well, Its worked out now after I managed to get the XP Repaired via the CD but now, although I can load the Win XP theme, it will revert to the classic style straight after a reboot.
How can I keep it on the Win XP theme?
Secondly, my Wireless Network Card is not connecting to the router...
After a few problems, my computer booted up into Windows and I found that my Windows XP theme had disappeared and was replaced by the classic style.
When I click on the Luna file in Windows/Resources/Themes,
it tells me that the Themes service is not running.
But in services, it is on...
