Thanks for the reply, Feherke. As I said, I'm not a Web developer, so I just assumed this type of thing could be done with Javascript.
So I'll pick a server-side language like Java, C#, Perl, PHP, etc, and then try to find sample source for a Contact Us page online. Thanks again for the tip.
I'm a Windows programmer but I'm not a Web developer. I need to create a simple "Contact Us" page using HTML and JavaScript if possible. I've searched online for a sample or snippet of such a page, but so far I haven't found what I need. All the source for similar pages I try to view apparently...
Thanks to everyone for all your input. I finally figured out the problem, and the cause was in a place I should have thought to look. This report is called from a VB 6 application, and it turns out that the RecordSelectionFormula value is set in the code before the report is previewed. So no...
Hi lbass, thanks for the post to this thread. I drove in to work tonight to try your suggestion, but so far it hasn't worked. I tried right-clicking in the Select Expert dialog on the {LineItemHistory.Include} tab and also on the {LineItemHistory.Include} text in the Formula window when I click...
Hey dgillz, thanks for the reply. You know, I did choose the "Select Expert" and I entered "{LineItemHistory.Include} = True" as the formula, but that didn't have any effect. The unincluded line item records still appeared in the details section, and the sum fields still included the line item...
This should be really easy, but for some reason I can't figure it out. I have a report in Crystal XI that has a Sum field in the group footer. This field is the sum of the LineItemHistory.LineCost (number) value in the details section.
The sum is great at showing the sum of the LineCost values...
Hey, thanks, Madawc - you actually helped me figure out a workaround. You mentioned using a formula field for grouping, which I wasn't doing. I was just using the Quote_ttx.JobID field straight from the .ttx file, as I explained.
So I tried changing the group to use a @JobID formula field...
Hey Madawc, thanks for the reply. No, there are no formulas used in either group of the two recordset-based reports. The first report (Quote.rpt) uses the JobID (Long) field from the Quote.ttx file for grouping, and the second report (BalanceConflict.rpt) uses the CustomerID (Long) field from...
I just upgraded from Crystal 8.5 to 11 and now the two reports that print from recordsets (instead of the DB) won't print. I keep getting an error from CRViewer that says, "This group section cannot be printed because its condition field is nonexistent or invalid. Format the section to choose...
Thanks for the reply. So I can't use the version 11 CRViewer, but apparently Crystal 10 works on Win 98, because I found this article that talks about using the CR 10 ActiveX viewer on Win 98 successfully.

So is the...
Calling all CR gurus! I need some insight. I develop a VB 6 application that uses the CRViewer control to preview and print the .rpt files. We use MSDE as our database. We just upgraded from Crystal 8.5 to version 11, and now we get an "Error creating ActiveX object" each time we try to preview...
