    By calling the gsm unit you have established a call and it thinks it has recieved an incoming call. I have only ever seen these things working off analogue line ports not extension ports. When you say no signal do you mean GSM?

    Guy's & Gal's As you well know when using IP hard or soft phones you have to open a whole plethora of ports on the firewall. Can any one tell me what risks are involved in doing this? I have an IT guy who is very twitchy about opening the ports and so i just wanted to understand the risks...
