IP Question - please help!
This is a dumb question, but how do you know if you have a static IP or not? I use Comcast with a wireless router, and when I check www.whatismyipaddress.com, it is almost always the same. It'll change just very rarely, like, when I unplug the modem, or if there is a power outage. This is... -

Remoting in to my home machine - IP problem?
It truely did help - I have a few things to try when I get home. I don't think I enabled port forwarding on the router, and since the router is not setup to allow me to log in remotely, I'll have to wait until I get home. Is there any security risk to consider when allowing remote... -
