    Data Interface Pairs

    I am trying to set up a DIP from the CommServe to the Media Agent. I am having dns issues and want to set the DIP using IP's but it won't let me choose the CommServe? I keep getting errors to check teh communications service but all the services are running fine. Any Ideas?

    Failing to connect

    I was having the same issue but when I did an nslookup by name I couldn't get an IP but setting are correct in DNS. I added to the hostfiles and that didn't work, and I am trying to set up DIP's but they aren't giving me the CommServe as an option.

    I am having the same issue and when i go to set up my DIP's it doesn't give me the CS as an option. So all of my jobs are failing due to name resolution errors. I need to set the DIP's by IP but it won't let me choose the CS to the MA.

    I am having the same issue, ane when i go to set up the DIP it isn't giving me the CommServe as an option. I am wanting to set up a DIP between the CommServe and the MA using IP instead of name. Any ideas?
