Log into the machine as the local administrator (don't forget to select the local computer name in the drop down list). Then remove the machine from the domain (put it in a workgroup), and delete the account in server manager - then wait 15 minutes before adding the machine back into the...
I have an unusual issue in which machines running Windows NT 4 occasionally won't show the Domain drop-down list afer a <ctrl> <alt> <del> at startup. In other words, it is as though the machine is suddenly not the member of a domain and the logon box only asks for username and password. After a...

If the mirroring was occuring at the hardware level then simply reloading the operating system would not have any effect on that. You would then have a hardware RAID adapter and it would have it's own configuration for mirroring (RAID 1).

2. Is the queue shared?
3. Have you shared printer drivers for the relevent operating system of the client machines?
4. Are you able to connect to the printer queue/share by using 'add printer'/'network...
As peterve said, robocopy is the best way to do this. use the robocopy /mir switch and it will mirror the users machine to the network share by ONLY copying files that are different - it's a most excellent utility...
Wow - there's a lot here that could be going wrong!
Anyway, it sounds like the BDC is the best place to start - under normal circumstances the BDC should be doing all of your user authentication - NOT the PDC. This is a common misconception. If your BDC has an issue - such as not communicating...
