Hi Again, I'm not sure if this is what you mean by importing. I sellect place under the file menu and the sellect a text box and the document flows into it. It seems to keep the formatting from the Word doc and rtf. That's all the help I can offer. I hope it helps.

I have had success cutting Quark text and pasting it into InDesign. It retained all the formatting. Try that rather than exporting.
