Sim Card in Modern Xerox Office Printers
Hi People Please can someone tell me whether there is a way of reprogramming the chips that are initially inside a new Xerox printer? I'm sure you guys know that an 8400B is exactly the same as the N except for the sim card that disables the network card. I want to know whether it's possible...- nssimpson

Hi we actually sell these products and since the 8400dp's are nolonger available i told the customer that i think getting the b and swapping all the stuff will work. I have sold an 8400n and the customer swapped the stuff over from an old dp and that worked. however xerox tell me that you can't...- nssimpson

Dear ALL I'm not sure if people are aware that the 8400B is EXACTLY the same as the 8400DP apart from having a different SIMM card and one less 128mb RAM chip. Now what I want to know is if you already have an 8400DP but it goes faulty can you simply purchase an 8400B and swap the SIMM card...- nssimpson
