Smah,
Thanks for the response.
Allow me to clarify further. Wish there was a way to attach a screenshot on here. When I go to open System Restore a box comes up that is blue around the edges and says Systems Restore on the tab but there is nothing inside of it.
I followed your suggestion...
I just got my computer back from being worked on and now I am noticing a bunch of things that I feel are related. I am running Windows XP.
1.) When I go to open System Restore the dialog box pops up but it is blued out and it won't let me get any further.
2.) When I go to search files/folders...
I was messing around with the settings in my NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 and I really messed up some displays. Now my desktop will not even show my icons.
Can you anyone please tell me how to restore this to the default settings? I would be forever grateful.
Thanks,
Dan
I am working ont his project in MS access. What I need to do is figure out how to convert a normal day (ex. 01/13/2006) to its day number (ex. 2006013) that is it takes the day number of the year, and puts it behind the year. I am almost certain this needs to be done in VBA, but I am not to...
Hi everyone,
I figured I would bring this up on the board and see if I can get some help. Last year I bought the parts to build a new computer and with the help of a friend we built it. I remember when we put it together we weren't sure how to hook up the jacks on the front of the case for...
Money shot!
Zathras, that solution solves the problem. It now will return values.
Thanks everyone for all the help.

I have tried the search twice again.. the first time with begins with 814 and it came it returned a value of zero. The second time with...
Lilliabeth,
To answer your question, the parentheses really do appear in the format. I tried the way you suggested by only doing a filter on contains 814 without the parentheses and it still returns zero items.
Thanks, any other suggestions?
I am using Microsoft Excel 2000 and I seem to be having a problem with the autofilter. The column I am trying to autofilter is a list of wireless numbers in this format(814)598-3724. When I use the autofilter I have tried begins with (814) or contains (814) and each time it returns 0 items. I...
