Powerplay stops automated cell update for formulas
Thanks a lot. In the meantime I found the reason, which was really that Powerplay must have set back the Excel recalc function to "manually". (at least, it wasn't me!!) I didn't check that because I wasn't even aware that you can switch it off. Learned something !!- tw88

As soon as I open my Excel-Workbook that is linked to our database via powerplay, Excel (MS Excel 97) is no longer able to update cells automatically. Even if I open a new workbook, fill A1,A2 with numbers and a third cell with "=sum(A1,A2)", Excel will not update the sum in case I change the...- tw88
