I see some installation with 2k.. so I am sure it's an entry point. i have exchange 5.5..... is it worth installing or does it require too many patches and finetuning and is indeed outdated.

this install is for learning purposes; what service pack is absolute minimumin real world? which version of exchange is good to install and learn from. Since I don't have the actual s/w.. is there a trial version or older version worth dealing with? thank you in advance.
