    Thank you for your time and reply ynapsevampire. I knew that part, the issue is SAS and its dataset; no ODBC by SAS on UNIX that would allow CR to read the dataset. Yes, CR is on a WIN box. Is ODBC that you use against ORACLE on UX provided by ORACLE or CR? TIA RS
