Fair enough - point taken on the ASU's vs. legacy cards. Even the ONS cards don't have beefy enough finals to drive decent volume to the emergency phones. Probably going to end up with more OPS cards (they're getting hard to find though)!
At the end of the day, if the voltage on the OPS...
Thanks for that! I've setup 2 circuit descriptors - one for the ONS card, another for the OPS, and set the Positive Disconnect Timer to "YES" for both. The emergency phones don't list the time setting, but testing with a timed power supply shows that dropping battery for 0.25 will put the...
Mostly MC320BE's and MC321AC's for cards. (Got some newer 3300 ASU's that I haven't tried this with yet though - might be worth a shot?)
The MXe is running 7.1 UR3 w/ SP1.
I'm running a MXe with a few peripheral nodes supporting many, many analog and DNI's along with lost of IP (minet and sip) sets on a 600 acre campus.
I've got a bunch of analog emergency phones around the campus that I'm having trouble connecting to the 3300. I'm testing on both ONS and OPS...
Hey there - thanks for the advice! Like you suggest, I'm already using OPS circuits for anything over 100M or 300ft. We routinely take direct lightning strikes to our lift towers, so we've got 100% solid state protection at every crossconnect (not just at the ends!!!!!), we also limit...
Here's an odd requirement that's got me stumped! Controller is a 3300 with 4 fiber-connected peripheral nodes.
For this application, I need to build one-to-one relationships between ONS/OPS lines and LS/GS trunks. For example, every time ONS extension 1350 goes off hook, I need it to connect...
