Thank you all for your input.
i get to talk to a middle guy sales person who's been doing this printing business for a long time, i assume, and it took me all day trying to figure it out without tearing the file apart. i can rest in peace and send ou the job.... ^^;
this is acutally a mass production on offset printer with a vendor. they want the page to be in printer spead.
i can use the InBooklet for inhouse print mock up but will the printer do the same when they rip the files?
i have created a 16pg reader spead with auto page number from master pages. i need to move the pages around for before i send it to a printer as a Printer Spead.
1. how do i lay the first page be a spead and not a single page? so it should have ... 1-2, 3-4, 5-6.....
2. do i have to...
no.
i saved them as tiffs and i see clipping paths.
i even tried saving them as tiffs with layers and as eps.
i just don't understand why it won't read my clipping paths.
i am using windows XP
for more details, i am using CS2.
is it possible that when i use older version of photoshop files work well on clipping paths and the CS2 files are not?
i am placing tiff file with clipping path in to Pagemaker but some files will read clipping and some won't.
does anyone know why some of the photoshop clipping paths are acitve and some don't.
i am not sure what i am missing.
i create all the paths in same way on all the images.
please help...
thnx
