Knob After a lot of checking it turns out that the problem I was having is the fact that Procomm will not work right on XP. So I took all 3 pc's and put win2k on them and they now they work fine. Thanks for your help!

Knob after some testing the incoming calls are connecting to the procomm pc's modem but procomm software does not know it. This is looking more and more like an XP/Procomm problem.

Sorry for not gettig back to you sooner but have been out of town. I am tring Hyper term to answen incoming call and then have procomm process it. I am not sure it will work that way but giving it a try.

Modem will not connect with incoming call after PC has been idle over a hour or two. It answers but will complete the connection but after that it will work fine until no activity for a few hours. All of the PC's that this is happen on are running XP Pro I shut off all power saving options but...

Knob I can not get the file opened and the strfind to compile? Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Knob thanks for responding to my post. There are 4 BAT files but there are 20 or 25 possable type codes so I need to check the type code then run the correct BAT file. I think with your 1st part I can do that but how do I get it to read the wbfc_data.txt file to search for the type code? And...

I need some help getting procomm to search the just received file for the type of call it is. There are many call types that need to to be searched and if found run one of 4 different BAT files. I have added the aspect file that I am using now to capture and create 2 differnt files. proc main...
