    SQL 2000 with Arc 2000 WE over two Win 2k Servers

    Hi Lurb, Workgroup Edition only supports backup from the server it's installed on. It does not support backup from another server. You need to get Advanced Edition to get that functionality. Hope this helps

    I too have seen this message. It can also come from unplugging the tape drive SCSI cable while the server is running. I have disconnected external DLT drives and reconnected them and this message appears and will not go away without a reboot. Check the cable connections as well. Hope this helps
