    i understand how to password protect a macro's code but is there a way to hide the names of the macros as well so that when the user selects 'alt f8' the names are not listed thanks for any help or suggestions

    i can successfully change a button caption in an open form using Command1.Caption = "new caption" DoCmd.Save acForm, "formname" but when i close the form and reopen it my new caption is not appearing ??? thanks for any assistance
