    could it be that it's using cat1 at half duplex if this is the case how do you set up a pc to run half duplex? if it is apple-talk how do i set up pc's to run on it ? thanks for all the response so far

    it's just two wires not two pairs and it should not work but some how it is for 6 out of the 7 pc's at that end of the school

    no it looks just like a normal cat 5 panel but only has 2 wires inside it instead of the normal 8 thanks for you help
