WebVPN URL pass-through?

We are running the latest release on our ASA (8.4). There are two group policies configured on the ASA, one for Anyconnect and one for client-less. We are trying to determine the URL parameters we can pass to the ASA for the main login page. There is an "allow users to bookmark" pages we set in...

    SIPGw "Auto number is prefix"

We have a CS1000E r7.0 and have used the SIPGw "auto number is DN" feature for linking Unified messaging. There is another selection called "auto number is prefix" and we are trying to figure out what this option is used for? We have a SIP route setup which prepends the LOC and are wondering...

Problem with Call Fwd External on CS1000 from BCM50 via SIP

We have a CS1000E r7.0 connected by SIP trucks with a BCM50 (r6.0 I think). When a user enables call fwd external on an CS1000 connected phone, any 4 digit CDP dialing from the BCM50 causes a fast busy. The two systems are linked using SIP trunking. Can anyone provide clues on settings to...

MOH alternative sources (other than MIRAN)

Is there no music manager equivalent for the CS1000 on even the newer releases (v6, v7, v7.5)?

MOH alternative sources (other than MIRAN)

Had anyone used an alternate source other than a miran or a cd player for playing Music on Hold? The BCM's seem to include a music manager which is much, much better than our MIRAN card. We are looking for an easier way to change MOH, where out marketing types can change it on their own...

Script to loop different recordings while on-hold

We are looking to loop four different recordings while a customer is on-hold. We are on CCMS 6.0 using Callpilot for the stored recordings. Does any have an example script for this type of setup? While on-hold playing MOH, wait 60 secs, play <recording 1>, wait 60 secs, play <recording 2>...

DID on two phones but directs to wrong VM box

We added a line to ring on an assistant's phone but now unanswered calls are flowing to the assistant's mailbox. I am not sure which setting I missed but the calls do ring on both lines correctly.

Setting up DID numbers without phones??

We have a BCM50 r5 connected via a PRI. We need to setup 2 new DID numbers which the user would like to setup/change call forward on demand. Can some provide suggestions on how to best implement this? If I add the two new DID's to his phone, doesn't call forwarding apply to all numbers on his...

ADD vs TDD - IP phones

We have a CS1000E rls 6.0. All phones are IP Sets. Can someone help me understand the difference between ADD and TDD (Auto/Tandem Digit Display)? We have noticed that with ADD set, inbound calls will not show callerid on secondary lines. When TDD is set, inbound callerid works on primary and...

    BCM50 call forwarding confusion

We still have not figured this issue out yet, but noticed something new. When the Call Fwd No Answer is set (BCM50->SIP->CS1000) to an extension on the CS1000, the call actually drops from the BCM50 as if it's expecting the Telco to handle the call forward. We get a Telco recording after the...

    BCM50 call forwarding confusion

The "Allow Redirect" seems to have fixed the "FWD ALL" issue we were seeing with the 2002 phones. Thx. The BCM50 was setup standalone than SIP trunked to a CS1000. It was not converted to an SRG. We still can't get the "FWD No Answer" setting to work though. We are just trying to forward to an...

    BCM50 call forwarding confusion

We are seeing an odd issue with trying to set different call forward settings. 1) With a 1220 phone, we can enable "FWD ALL" to an extension on a CS1000 (SIP trunk). 2) With a 2002 phone, we can not enable "FWD ALL" to the same extension, as it says invalid extension. (You can call the...

    CS1000 - Callpilot Remote Notification - CLID

We are in the process of enabling "Remote Notification" for one number on our Call Pilot. What I can't figure out is where we can control the CLID for this Call Pilot initiated call. Currently we have multiple CLID's with 0 being hardcoded to the main phone number. Ideally we would like to...

    Hunt Group and CCR transfer

We have a new BCM and have setup a few Hunt Groups. We are trying to get the Hunt Group working in Broadcast mode, but only one phone rings at a time even though the group is set for Broadcast. Also, we setup a CCR and would like the transfer type to give the caller a normal ring feedback...

    Displaying all registered IP Phones

I can't remember how to display all registered phones on a CS1000, where it displays the extension, phone type, mac address, and IP address of the phone. Can some provide the way to do this? Thanks.

Using SIP trunk as backup to PRI's

We would like to use a SIP TIE trunk as a backup to our dual-PRI's, in case the PRI's go down. In our AC1 NPA/NXX setup, we tested setting the RLI for the SIP trunk as primary for one NPA and one NXX, but calls will not go through. We do have a DSC setup for the SIP trunk but do not know where...

    Setting CLS PCAM issue

We have enabled PCA on a CS1000E rls5.0, and have verified it works to both extensions and other trunks, but we need to set the class "PCAM" on the TN and for some reason it does not show when the PCA TN is printed. Have anyone tried setting PCAM on a PCA TN before? The PBX gives no errors when...

    Dial Out Without "9"

John, what is "pvr.."? I am not worried about station to station though, since these are special lines connected to an alarm company. I just need to disable the dial 9 first requirement.

    Block calls based on callerid

We have a CS1000E. Is there an easy way to block a specific number based on callerid? This would be from an inbound call over a PRI. Also, I'm not sure if this type of thing is better handled via the Telco (or if they would even do it on their end?).
