svcagent status via command line on HMC

Trying to setup various monitors/probes for the health of the HMC itself.

svcagent status via command line on HMC

After speaking with IBM, there is apparently no way to check the status of the svcagent processes (CM, ESS, ODS) via command line on the HMC. At least not with the commands available to the default "hscroot". Bummer.

svcagent status via command line on HMC

On a linux HMC (V3R3.5), I'm looking for a way to get the svcagent status via command line, if possible. User "hscroot" does not have command line access to "/usr/svcagent/bin/sa_status", but the output from "sa_status" shows up in the websm gui when logged in as "hscroot". Any ideas? Thanks.
