    Thanks for all the help. I received some info from another tech that's familiar with AIX and he mentioned to edit the /etc/motd and just add the info. It works fine for what I need. Comes up after login and can run cat /etc/motd Thanks ddeblance

    I have two pSERIES 610's running AIX 4.3. I'm looking for a command of files to edit to set them back to factory defaults before I send them off to the customer. With Hpux you edit /netconf and /hosts. And Solaris theres the command sys-unconfig. Thanks, ddeblance
