I thought about that and made sure the user account was Admin, the document wasn't Read-Only, had the proper folder rights and also opened Word & Excel docs from different locations (a folder on the desktop, the desktop itself and from My Documents). Excel still doesn't work, Word does.

Anyone curious ... you get rid of the stored faxes by deleting all TIF files in C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Local Settings\Temp.
Its really amazing, some of my users had over 2,000 temp TIF files stored from past CallPilot faxes.

Is there a way to have a user be displayed in the company GroupWise Address Book by their email address and not by their name? We go through a lot of people at this position and it would be so nice to have it listed by email instead of constantly changing the account name.

I've been made the phone guy this week and am having some issues with the ASM8+ Module in our Nortel BCM. The top light is blinking red to orange to red .... what's going on? Is the unit garbage and need to be replaced? I've tried rebooting the system but that didn't help. Thank you for any advice.

If a user attempts to send a fax using the CallPilot system and the receiver's fax is busy, how long does CallPilot continue to attempt delivery before it times out? Or is it not a timeout issue but a number of attempts issue? How many attempts? Thanks.
