Hello:
I have VIP configured as:
set interface untrust vip U.X.Y.Z 80 "HTTP" 192.168.229.15
I need to delete this command, so I entered (in CLI):
unset interface untrust vip U.X.Y.Z 80 "HTTP" 192.168.229.15
but got a "unknown parameter" error on 80 (after untrust address)...
QUESTION:
- is...
I am trying to create DIP for "untrusted":
ID: 4
IP range from x.y.z.156 to x.y.z.156
Port translation: SELECTED
When I entered this data - I got an error "### Invalid DIP parameter".
Any ideas?
Thank you, Slava.
Thank you very much for your answer to my post.
There is one issue - when I tied to create DIP with 156 ip I got an error "### Invalid DIP parameter".
I selected:
ID: 4
IP range from x.y.z.156 to x.y.z.156
Port translation: SELECTED
Any ideas?
Hello:
My LAN is protected by Netscreen 5XP Firewall, which was configured by somebody else.
There is one exposed external IP address: X.Y.Z.156.
VIP provides port forwarding to some servers on the internal LAN - MS Exchange, Web server, etc.:
set interface untrust vip X.Y.Z.156 + 25 "MAIL"...
I need to create a rule that says when the Exchange server behind firewall goes OUT on port 25 (sends email), it uses W.X.Y.Z IP address. It's essentially reverse-NAT or reverse-port mapping...
Is there an easy way to do this with Netscreen?
Thank you!
