won't make any difference. it was increased because the store.exe was demanding almost 3.7GB of RAM. if you take into account the fact that the OS and many other processes need RAM as well it will just increase again
hi, i just installed ex2007 standard on a brand new server with 4GB or RAM. on a daily basis I get virtual memory low messages and I see that store.exe takes up about 3.5GB of memory. it starts low and eventually rises to that level and it would probably go higher if I wouldn't restart it.

i am almost positive that it is default setting. I am the only one here in the IT dept. and the only one who knows what group policies are. so there is no chance anybody else did it.

ok with help from ms I have found the problem and it has been fixed.
my default domain policy was setting certain permissions on a key that was needed for installation and they were not correct. what bugs me is that this was DEFAULT 2003 policy yet it was incompatible with the 2007 exchange...
I get this error a lot. It even shows up when I try to enter the license key.

have an INCOMING rule on the inside interface with the source of ANY and destination of inside network?
To me this particular rule would make no sense...but yet it lets me apply it

well I think i finally have this one wrapped up.
For whatever reason I used 2 different functions in this whole mess ( one for export to excel and one for formatting the excell sheet)
Problem was somewhere in the formating function, so as soon as I put the code back in the export function...
