    Graphic patterns for 3D products

Is there a somewhat simple way to apply a pattern design to fit a 3D product template, for instance a glass template? How is it done so that the pattern will go smoothly around the entire product?

    pdf presentation of Illustrator files

I also tried reduced size pdf in Acrobat and that makes the file a lot smaller. However, the quality isn't very good anymore, at least not for printing.

    pdf presentation of Illustrator files

Tricky... I have flattened the files and tried to select settings that would make the files smaller but without major success. Saving the file as a jpeg and using that in Acrobat makes the pdf slightly smaller. My pdfs will be printed so the quality must be good but they will also be e-mailed so...

Hi, I am a designer with artwork mostly made in Illustrator (some in Photoshop). What is the best way to create pdf presentations from these files? I organized my designs in Photoshop, made nice presentation pages and then used Acrobat to translate these into multipage pdfs. However, the file...

    Dissolve - Gradient

Previously I designed with Photoshop and was able to make a gradient effect with a brush in dissolve-mode. How can I get something similar in Illustrator (or can I)? The effect with Gradient Tool is too smooth, I need something more natural and that uses only one color (in other words very small...

    Textile patterns with Illustrator

I have learned something new from you, but I guess these things need practice before things go smoothly... I will google some more info and study your examples more thoroughly. But it seems that Photoshop is more handy when it comes to more complex patterns (or perhaps it's just something I have...

    Textile patterns with Illustrator

Thanks Andrew, I guess this requires some practice... I manage to create patterns but when I put two similar patterns together they still don't match and repeat continuously (if used for instance on fabric). Must study some more... But I truly appreciate your help!

    Textile patterns with Illustrator

Is there a good way to make repeating textile designs with Illustrator? If I try to make a repeat with the define pattern -feature it won't repeat. I mean that when I put two pieces of the pattern together they don't match (repeat without cuts). Until now I have made repeating textile designs...
