Hey Tony,
Thanks for your reply.
It's hard as I don't currently have a sample of the doc available atm. However, the postcode will always start L-
It will be on the right hand side, in a block of justified text, 6 or 7 lines down.
I will endeavour to get a sample asap, but does the above help?
Hey thanks for the replies.
Ok, the document will be a letter in Word doc format (2003).
There is a section within the Word doc that contains the address of the sender. The majority of these docs can be saved in a certain location e.g.
\\FS01\DOCS\SENDER1
I have one particular sending...

Hi there,
I am trying to track down a way to stop people being able to edit or save a Word document.
I can find info on how to do it in Excel, but not how to do it within Word.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find anything using the search on here.
Cheers,

Hey guys - just to say thank you for your help with this.
Turns out there was a problem with the order of the columns within the table and insert (bad programming there I think!)
Anyway - thanks a lot for all your help - really appreciated.

Hi Borislav,
Thanks for that - if this were the problem would it not work on the other server/db as well?
I didn't write this, but need to try and get to the bottom of it.
Hi,
When I run the following on one server, it runs correctly and adds the entry to the database:
exec sp_executesql N'INSERT INTO [BO_DEMO].[dbo].[CXV_LIST] ([LIST_UNO], [CREATED], [CREATED_BY], [LAST_MODIFIED_BY], [NAME], [START_DATE], [END_DATE], [OWNER_UNO], [SPONSOR_UNO], [LIST_TYPE_UNO]...

Nevermind, I found a work around.
If you have the same problem as above, go into Outlook and choose Tools - Forms - Choose Forms
Locate the outlooksecurity.oft file and select the Outlook Security Setting folder and deploy as normal.
Cheers.

Hi,
When I try to open outlooksecurity.oft I get the following error:
The custom form could not be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook form instead.
I've deployed this elsewhere without any problems. Am using Outlook 2003 SP3 as part of SBS.
Any help would be great.
Cheers!
Thanks for that, but I remember there being restrictions with regards to remote connections in the past, especially with DE and Dev and was just checking.

Hey all,
Is there any reason that I could not install SQL 2005 Standard on an XPSP2 box and use it as a server for other XP client machines?
I need a SQL box up and running asap, and all I have is my XP disc!
Cheers,
CC
