    Can't undo read-only C: volume

    Windows 2000 Professional (Admin rights) won't defragment my [b]C: volume[b/] (primary HD partition) because its set [b]READ-ONLY[b/]. Never-the-less, it defrags my D: volume (secondary HD) and E: volume (primary HD partition) as usual. I haven't a clue as to how this situation has arisen...
