    AIX Power5 on 5.3- On varyonvg error "cannot be varied on because no good copies of the descriptor area"

    Power5 running AIX 5.3- All seems OK, but ran out of space on root vg hd4, when trying to increase size with smit error comes up VG cannot be varied on because no good copies of descriptor area How can I solve this? Many thanks!
