    Apps Frozen in Windows 2000 Pro

    Hi, I'm unable to launch most appications from the Desktop and Start Menu and I am unable to launch anything from .exe files in the program folders. I'm also unable to launch any new applications that I install. Any thoughts, anyone? Go easy as I'm more creative than techie. Thanks
