My test agent ID is getting the "central management authentication failed" error after I enter my Windows login ID and password.
I checked the profile settings in Login Telephony and the Login - Agent and they look set correctly. Are there any other fields to check?
CM 6.3
I have a user at a remote office and the phone rings when they get a call at their main number. I did a list usage and removed that ext. from the pick-up group. The phone is still ringing.
The phone has 6 brdg-appr of the main number. Do I need to remove these brdg-appr buttons to stop...
I need to change the outbound caller ID for a remote site and I do not know how they are set up (new to the company). I figured the IP network region for that site but am not sure how to trace outbound calls back to the trunk.
CM 6.3
We moved to a full cloud platform environment and will need to decom our CM with media gateways and SMGR. From my initial research online there isn't much to do except to perform a back up then shut it down?
Anything any additional items to complete before shutting down and is there a command...
I know there could be many variables but I ran out of ideas for this remote 9620.
At the office Cleared the phone and programmed the group in the VPN settings. Confirmed the VPN user is correct. The user at home is reporting the phone is booting up straight to an extension prompt. I checked...
Not sure why I'm having so much trouble with this but I created myself a One X agent using an extension and an agent ID set up exactly like another working example ext and agent ID. When I log in, the extension register fine but when it asks for the agent ID, I enter it and leave the password...
Just wondering if it's feasible to set up call center agents at home using One X agent connected through a VPN.
Are there any challenges? I guess I would have to discuss this with the network group first. I have no idea how VoIP works in VPN.
CM 6.3
I'm working to map out vectors in my system and currently using Visio to map out the selections and routing. Is there a free tool out there that I can use? Maybe Excel would be a better tool?
Hello,
I crossed over from the Avaya forum to here because I'm in the process of learning CUCM. I have access to a CUCM 12 from Cisco's Devnet and can practice in this lab environment. My question is what functions/features should I learn to have a solid basic understanding of CUCM? So far I'm...
I have a remote core CM6.3 in Asia and not sure how to determine if E.164 is used in its dialplan. The "display dialplan analysis" is showing multiple entries. This would be for the India region, thank you.
I need to correlate a List registered IP addresses with their associated Station names. Besides pulling both reports and doing some Excel wizardry, can ASA CM 6.3 do this for me?
I have a remote site and there are 90 digital phones that will need to be connected to a G450. The calls will be mainly for Outbound calls via the central CM SIP trunks. A few questions, do I need DSP boards in the G450?
Specs for remote site
Number of G450?
One analog card for 1 911 phone...
I'm not familiar with gateways and I have a remote site with 3 G450's, the network team is going to decom one of the two network L2 switches connected to the G450s. What needs to be done on the Avaya side to ensure this doesn't cause any problems.
Thank you.
Just wanted to double check. To find out what type of server i.e. S8300 is in a G450 the command line in ASA is "display media-gateway #" And if you don't see a server in the disp media that means there is no LSP correct?
This would be my first time installing a remote gateway and I have a remote site that is currently servicing 75 6408 phones on a G650. We need to reduce the Avaya equipment footprint at that site. Will a G450 do the trick? Is there anything particular besides purchasing the G450 and...
I'm using a standard station number with a 8 character password. The server listed in One X is the same IP as the CM IP, I enabled "IP Softphone" to Yes in the station form. So I'm not sure what I'm missing here. When I login it says cannot reach server.
One X version 6.2 CM version 6.3
Here's the scenario, 4 remote G650s, with IPSI, analog, digital cards and one DS1 card. Currently the IPSI card are registered to a main prcr. We need to get the gateway off the current network and onto a new network with a new firewall.
Most of the network routing and firewall stuff will be...
I'm brushing up on CMS and reporting it's been a while. What are the typical reports normally looked at by call center managers?
Historical = agent attendance, abandon rate, Agent attendance, Abandon rate, skill reports, call offered, calls answered.
Real time = call on hold..
Input appreciated...
