So...I'm at a site, just trying to recover; and XP box...with a bad DB and/or possible OS. I have my image, on a USB drive...but I can't seem to get the PC, to boot to my Ghost Boot. Can I make the USB drive bootable... WITHOUT having to reformat, etc.; which would cause me to lose the image??

Not really in the MICROS game anymore; but I have an old customer, who had a crash last night. DB is in fault; didn't make a backup. Can't remember, my command lines for restoring. HELP! 911; customer has doors locked, until I can fix. TIA

For the LIFE of me; I can never remember the file-extension. Like .rpt? Too many of them, in Temp dirs; will cause the PC not to see the MICROS USB License fob.

Any known issues??

I have a CRASHED site. HDD went bad. Their IT guy, has loaded a fresh copy of 7Pro for me...and I am dialed-in, trying to install RES; and restore their old DB. PreReq gave me ASP, IIS errors; fine...seen and fixed a million times. NEVER seen, this BDE error: UNABLE TO MERGE NEW CONFIGURATION...

Anyone ever successfully...gotten a 5A; to run a 2.5hdd or SSD. So as to load 7posready or 10IoT? We've got proposals to do some conversions; and hardware costs, will be outrageous. If we could find a way, to put a hard-drive in these things; could go a long way, to securing some sales...

Tried the UWS=6 trick. Sign-In screen comes up; access to Config, still disabled. I know how to "slip-stream" EmpDefs; but not sure I have a 3.2 file. Thanks
