Hello Everyone, and Happy New Year!
I've run into an issue that has me scratching my head - perhaps someone might have a suggestion?
We have Nortel T- and M-series phones on a BCM400/3.7 It has a SIP trunk over private network to Asterisk 20.5.0 box, with SIP extensions and a Digium Analog...
Greetings!
I was looking for a solution to upgrade the firmware on a pair of 1140e beyond 0625C98, and found a closed thread that ended with the question: did anyone try to go to SIP and back to upgrade the phone?
Originally I tried loading C99, C9A, C9B, C9C, C9D, in succession got: [FW]...
Good day everyone...and this is for BCM400 tinkerers...specifically BCM400 3.7 running NT4.0 embedded:
I've managed to write a little bit of .wml to display messages on 1140 phones, a rudimentary directory, and background images but...
Has anyone else done any WML programming for 1100-type...
Hello there!
Would anyone out there happen to have schematics for:
2501-03308-001D Audio Conferencing Unit
2501-03308-001A Audio Conferencing Universal Module
Many thanks!

So, here's a question for the forum: is there a delay that can be set to extend when the auto attendant (Joan?) starts talking after answering?
On this particular system, auto attendant is set to answer a particular outside line after 2 rings, (to pick up the CLID.) The greeting table has DN...
So here's a question: what is in the UNISTim firmware? Is it possible to upload it into any other brand of IP at all?

Hello out there...
I am experimenting with a pair of 1140e's (SIP04.04.33.00) and a BCM400 R3.7.
Using miniSIPServerV33, I have been able to successfully perform inbound calling from the 1140e's into the BCM using the VOIP trunks and Target Lines to each extension. These calls work...
Hello out there!
I've been searching the forums for info on upgrading from 3.7 to 4.0, and have a couple of questions:
1. The BCM is running 3.7. It came without a hard drive, so that's what I dropped in it. I notice, however, that my USB ports actually work - is it possible it was already...
cndr99 (Programmer)(OP)22 Jun 18 17:51:pardon me, i accidentally created this post in Norstar, now reposting in BCM forum!
Question:
Is there absolutely no way, in the BCM400 R3.7 for a pool code 9 to co-exist with 911 or 9-911 as a destination code?

So here's some exciting news:
I got tired of worrying about IDE hard drive in the BCM400 failing, going corrupt, etc. They are getting hard to find anyway. Thought about SSD drives, but I...
Hey -
New toy for the plant has arrived and is up and running on the BCM 3.7: a gently used 1140E. (along with the T7316s, T7406s, M7100s, M7310s, NORSTAR and various analog cludge...connected to this phone museum)
I've read all the old threads and just have a three-word question:
Blue...
Frustrated!
I had it working at one time - but since a clean reinstall of my office computer (Windows 7 Pro SP1), I can't get the LAN CTE installer from my BCM 3.7 to pick up any lines from the BCM on my network. It throws the error "Line Add Provider Error: Operation Failed." and later...
Any suggestions or helpful hints for linking a BCM400 to a Norstar?
I've connected several Norstar LINES to the analog extensions on the BCM, but there must be a better way...
Many thanks!
Hello out there....
I've searched for compatibility charts to no avail...Would anyone happen to know if a Nortel M2616 station would work in a BCM400 system?
Many thanks!
David
Hello there! I was recently given a BCM400 (along with a lot of other crap) for recycling...
Well imagine my surprise when it powered up, and it appears to support 8 trunk lines with hunt group, and many many many extensions + voicemail.
My problem: no hard drive, and no keys.
Question...
