I would like to add a call queue for my 2 front desk phones so if no one answers after a certain number of rings, the call gets parked into a queue with the same audio loop we use on hold. Is there any extra hardware i need? Is this an ACD?

I work a hotel and we have a number of 500 analog phones that automatically dial the front desk when you pick up the phone.
I thought i knoew how to switch it off so you get a dial tone but apparently not.
How do i revert the phone back to "normal" and eliminate the hotline aka "batphone"...

We have a situation where it would be desireable to have the attendant provide a caller from a batphone an outside line.
We have never done this before. Policy has been to have attendant dial the number, but that is proving problematic.
AFAIK we have no restrictions on the TN's involved...

Does the Meridian track or log calls made out onto the trunks?
We have a system for monitoring LD calls, but i want a log for all calls.
I recall there being some way to "watch" a line and see when its being used. but i cant seem to find that info.

So using LD81 i can list out my TN's that are attached to phone sets.
