Using Jabber as the phone for CUACA, the transfer option is not there with the local attendant software. I am going to try to update the desktop software to see if that makes a difference. Jabber external transfers work when using the application by itself. Any thoughts? - Thank you
Does anyone know the manual way to update the SIP Gateway on a CS1000E registered to System Manager? Avaya has a way to do this.
Understood that the normal way is System Manager > CS1000 > Element Manager > Nodes, Servers Media Cards > Nodes > Gateway > TLAN IP Address of Proxy Server
Error Message:
The node cannot be saved with the current configuration. Refer to the highlighted explanations below.
- Server with hostname "Samss01" does not belong to CS1000 System for current Call Server.
I have tried adding it under the System Manager > Elements > Tree View but that...
Is it possible on a Nortel CS1000 7.65 to set 911 ESA in load 24 to RLI and change 911 to from CDP to NPA so it will go out the SIP Trunks, fail over to Ground Start and be able to set an OSN Key? I have been able to get fail-over without using ESA and the OSN Key using ESA. -Thank you
I can't find how to turn on Night Serv Direct Dial on a TIE route? It seems to be on by default for a public-ntwrk but not a tie? Is there a place to turn it on? - Thank you
I see the Failover Groups, but I don't see any load balancing on System Manger for the Session Manger Servers. I seem to remember it was possible using local Host Name Resolution but I can't seem to get that to function. Perhaps I stood too close to 4:20 guy this morning. If anyone can help...
I have compared the redirection settings (RDR) & CFF is set and they are the same. One site works the fine. The other does not. I have looked at the RDB & sets along with the NET. I have found this in the past but I am drawing a blank now. Any thoughts? If I dial an extension located in a...
I'm sure I have something wrong. It works but it is really slow. I could key it in faster.
I would guess that the way the loop is setup is wrong. Any thoughts? - Thank you, Bryan

We are using g.711. We are on 7.65. Does anyone know the route / trunk setup that has to be set to allow in-band dtmf over the SIP Trunks to session manager?
I've been trying different adaptions from to route calls to Lync 2013 for Dial In Conferencing only using odstd=sipdomain.com & presenting the final call to lync as +1816xxxxxxx. I'm curious if there is a specific Adaptation that works and would possibly indicate we need to look at the Lync...
I've searched for what Rejected - 500 Server Link M> means. I have went through everything in the routing on SM but I keep ending up with Rejected - 500 Server Link M> when trying to place a Conference Call into Lync 2013. We have looked at several setup guides for Lync 2013 and Session...
Our Avaya CM stopped syncing within System Manager. I don't know if the Avaya System Manager only pulls and updates information but I believe that is the case. I have the option of Initialization, Initialize data for selected devices or Never Synchronized. We are on System Manager 6.3 and CM...
Sorry, the original thread was closed. Here is the upload file with a couple of modifications to shorten the timeout for codes that are already present, logout and stop the script when it is done running.
The original scripting is from bignose21 & jamie2. Thank you both.

I'm using the ISDN PRI on the Legacy Nortel for a couple users to dial out locally. The problem I have is the FRL doesn't pass between the systems to allow access to Long Distance Calls using what would be Auth Code restricted RLB\RLB for calls out the Legacy Nortel ISDN PRI. I can use the 2nd...
We are able to redirect DIDs ending in 0xxx across to other network extensions at other sites. However, when trying to redirect a DID that ends in 2xxx it routes to reception during the day. We are receiving the last 4 from the CO. I looked in ld 90 for anything that might be blocking the...
We don't have any local resources for our Avaya Communicaiton Manager Server at our main site as all the branch offices are remote. All the Branch Offices have Local PSTN Resources and yes we can send calls out through them. I would like to route PSTN Calls for CM IP Phones at our main site...
I've looked but only found PHNSCRALL that would default screen settings. I'm looking for a way to set the Quick Touch Panel to 2 Lines using the 46xxsettings.txt file? Thank you
The user guide says to use BRURI & BUORI but the 46xxsettings.txt file says they don't work with 96xx phones. Can you backup to your CM Utility Server IP Address if it is listed in the DHCP Scope as your HTTPSrvr? Is there a better guide to use? - Thank you
