Working on a deployment with all remote phones and apps. As we know IP Office does not accept SIP loads on a 96x1 phone (yet), I have no VPN to play with would prefer to not use port forwarding on the firewall. I will have an SBC for the apps like One-X mobile, so it would be nice to just use...
IPO Running 9.1.6 server edition standard (not select) with 1 Linux server and two IPO500 gateways/nodes.
I know the e129 does not support resiliency today (maybe in R10) but at a remote location can I register the e129 phones to the local IPO500?
I think yes since they are an Avaya phone and...

Guys if I have a 1616 with 2 side cars connected to a PoE switch, that has a UPS on the PoE switch but not at the desk, what happens if I have a power outage. The desk power injectors will stop working, will the phone completely die?
Thanks for the advice.
Weird request. Customer wants multiple call park buttons. They would like to be able to see the Caller ID on each park slot before they pick up.
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks
I am working on an upgrade and want to ensure all the external modules will be supported in 9.1.x. I know from the offer definition that IPO400 external modules are not supported in that vintage. The offer definition reads the following is not supported:
• Digital Station V1: 16 and 30 port...
I have a customer who has 10 executives running LYNC on a MAC OS appliance. We need the sign off of these guys to upgrade the IP Office to Server Edition and expand it out corporately. They are asking for Click to Call and telephony presence out of the LYNC clients running on a MAC OS.

Does anyone know a Dev Connect that can do click to dial and screen pops on a Apple/ MAC?
Avaya requires the .net framework and says it won't work.
RSI says they can't support it.
I am checking with ESNA.
This is a requirement for my customer and we are having a challenge meeting it...
I am running 9.1 and am trying to set up One-X Mobile on an Android. I keep getting a certificate error. I downloaded the two certificates that show in IPO Web Manager via google drive, but can't get them to install.
Does anyone have a simple way to get these certificates installed?
Thanks
We have a customer that is moving off an open source system. They have 60 or so Polycom 550s and 335s. They want to reuse those phones and want redundancy.
Can 3rd party phones register to a redundant server as a guest endpoint? Or do I need to license both systems for the phones? Would...
We have a prospect looking to come off a hosted service, asterisk based, to IPO.
They would like to reuse their Polycom 335 and 550 phones.
Does anyone know if these support survivability in IPO as redundancy is important to these guys. The prospect is also looking at more than 30 IPOCC...
I have been looking around and am not finding a complete backup procedure to capture a DL360 (R9) setup on server edition.
If its customer provided VMware, we usually tell the customer to take a snapshot of the image to capture the PBX, VM, and One-X.
Is there a feature like that on the Avaya...
Has anyone networked a R9 IPO500v2 to an old R3 system via IP QSIG? I had a customer have to do an emergency replacement and wants 4 digit dialing over the network back to the old systems.
Have a customer going from a 500v2 R9 to a full server edition. Is there a way to export the programming on the 500 and import it into the server edition? I don't think we can do this the same way as going from one 500 to another. Has anyone done this.
Has any one had any luck with ATAs hanging off IPO R9 with analog phones (not fax machines)?
If so what models work? I am looking for 2 port options. Do they use a 3rd party endpoint license?
Thanks for the advise, trying to stay out of trouble with this.
We have someone looking to page from an IP desk phone and have it heard through cordless phones, like Spectralink, Dect, or Engenious.
Has anyone had any luck making this work?
Thanks
Michael

Can the IPO pull a call back from voicemail to be answered by a live party?
