There is a patch that addresses the BCM 450's tendency to stay down after a soft reboot.
I don't have my old Read Me files and my Google-Fu is weak. Does anyone recall what SU this is in?
If you have a PC connected to the network port on an Avaya phone (9611) is there any way for it to pass information to the phone so you can click to dial?
With the BCM's being end of life we're looking at some other solutions for PBX's. Does anyone have any experience with the Citel devices and Nortel phones?
Pardon my North American ignorance but I don't have much information about these DECT phones. I have a customer who got his hands on some and wants to deploy them in a site that has 7449's. I'm debating how much effort I should put into that or if it's even possible.
I have a BCM 450 R6 that is dialing after three digits, rather than waiting for the whole dialing string. Obviously no calls are successfully completing. I have run out of settings to check. Any suggestions?
I dial 9xx and then I get a "Your call can not be completed as dialed" message.
I've got a site that is suddenly announcing in French Canadian. It's not in Canada. English (US) doesn't appear to be an option anymore in Call Pilot. Anyone know how to get a language back? They're getting Australian English now.
When you try to unzip the logs from a 450 it asks for a password. What the heck is the password?
I asked my Avaya rep but he wasn't sure. He tried the password of the day but that didn't work. The password I used to log on to the BCM didn't work and I even tried the SSBA password.
I have a BCM400 4.0 that acts mostly fine. It's sending an SNMP alarm that seems to indicate a problem with LAN port 2 even though I have confirmed the port works. The one that really has me concerned though is the fact that I can't click on "Identification" in the System folder when I'm logged...
How do you adjust the port speed on a BCM 450? In a couple instances I need to manually set the speed for the LAN port. Easy enough on a 400 but I can't find the option on a 450.
I just upgrades a bunch of BCM 400's. One came back with:
Software upgrade failed to apply, rpm retcode 2
I can't find what return code 2 is. Anyone else?
Is there anything in alarms that says for sure D channel down?
I'm doing some tweaking with SNMP traps and I can't find anything that says for sure it's down. If that trap is in there, it's hiding from me.
Anyone else running into issues where the BCM 450 just stops responding to the SNMP manager? Seems to happen somewhat regularly for me. If I just go in and look at the settings, it starts up again after a couple minutes.
Has anyone run into a solution for: Call presented and no system resources available to receive the call.
I'm familiar with the "no port available" but this one I'm having trouble with. CPU and memory are good when this happens. Disk drive space is OK.
