We have just moved from an ISDN service to a SIP service.
When we receive a call in from other users of this SIP service, their name displays on our extensions (5330s) as so:
COMPANY FIRSTNAME LASTNAME
NUMBER-THEY-CALLED-FROM
However, when I call out to these people, I get the following...
I've recently installed a Mitel 3300 (CXi, MCD 5.0SP1) at a customers site which has a new ISDN10 connection.
The ISDN trunks work - you can call in and call out on them, no problem. However, the maintenance log is filling up with entries like the following:
Call Control - Maintenance -...
I have a customer who wants people to be able to camp=on to their busy extensions for a certain amount of time (say 20 seconds) then, if they still haven't taken the call, divert to their voicemail.
I have the camp-on working however it just keeps ringing on the second call until the call drops...
I have a customer who has a 3300 (MCD5.0) with 4 Analog (PSTN) trunks. When they make a call out, the number dials like normal and when the other end answeres, there is a couple of seconds where the far-end party cannot hear the local party speak. The local party can hear the far end party...
We have a system which was rushed out the door by Sales, and in doing so had an ARID assigned to it that was an enterprise version.
Now, I have the licenses come through for the correct system, which is standalone, and I get an error when I put the new ARID in the License and Option Selection...
Hi all,
Our customer has an NCP-500 (with 1xDHLC4, 2xLCOT4, 1xDLC16 and IPCMPR) and has asked for all calls to go to an ICD group during the day, and voice message at night. My predecessor has programmed this and it works (Day group is 601, Night group is 603 gROUP fwd'd to 591 always).
Now the...
Main PBX: 3300 ICP, MCD 5.0
Remote PBX: vMCD 5.0
On the Main PBX, I have set up a phantom set with single line appearances of *xxxx (as described in this article http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=6963) for forwarding callers directly to someone's voicemail. This is working perfectly fine.
I...
One of my remote offices has a 3300 running MCD 5.0 which is connected to my main office via VPN. They have a BRI card handling their incoming trunks.
For the past month they have complained (not to me, of course, God forbid they talk to the technician!) of garbled voices when they make calls...
3300 CXiII, MCD 5.0
System has Basic Rate trunks with an in-dial range associated. I have set up CPN Substitution indexes for valid extensions and a default CPN for other numbers on these trunks.
However, if an external caller calls an extension, and that extension forwards on to an external...
Mitel 3300 CXi MCD 5.0
Currently, when a new mailbox is created, the default behaviour of the mailbox is to present the recorded message (if there is one) and then come in after with the pre-programmed 'Leave the message after the tone ...' message.
I have to go into the Administrators mailbox...
We have a 3300 CXi running 5.0. Our business has about 6 incoming numbers that get routed throughout the company via Ring Groups.
Example:
Incoming call -> RG (members (a,b)) overflow to -> RG (members (a,b,c,d,e) overflow to -> RG (members (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h) overflow to VM.
The initial number...
We have just installed a Mitel 3300 (MCD 5.0) at one of our remote offices and clustered it over VPN to our head office's 3300 (MCD 5.0). I used the Direct IP route when programming the ARS (which made things a LOT easier!) and it's working fine.
Because the remote office is in a different...
My customer has two incoming numbers to their office, as they run two companies in the same place. When a call comes in, the phone will say which number was called so they know how to answer the phone (ie. Company A or Company B).
They have asked for different hold music depending on which...
