It’s simply a string of menu prompts, in this example 12 of them and the rating is from 1-6.
Answers are stored in a database, including time, date and CLI. Easy to extract using MS Access.
If you need different ratings or number of questions, just alter the menu’s + the wav file that explains...
Extra VMPro channels cost an arm and a leg.
In many cases 4 ch is enough, but every now and then it goes into congestion.
Here's how you cheat that if you're using an IVR(AA) in front:
On the IPO:
- Make a HG "ReliefHG", Sequential, tick 1st. Announcement 5 sec, Repeat, Ringing, VM off.
- ICR...
Xmas is closing in fast, that calls for some sharing [santa]
Many customers wants to know the traffic numbers on their IVR/AA, what callers selected within a time frame.
In VMPro you can do this quite easy...Here's how:
In IPO:
- Create dummy user 777 and forward unconditional to 555 (tick...
By default VMPro will read back numbers like time and date, but nothing above 59 (That's the sec/minutes.)
This module will enable you to get number between 1 and 999999 read out loud.
Keep it as a separate module that you insert into other flows when needed. Use $CP10 to hold the number.

So, finally Friday, everyone's eager to get home I guess [smile]
If you're just treading water, here's something that might make time pass quicker:
Recently the "Westigrant-commission" posted a warning on Voicemail Pro being used for toll fraud.

It had me thinking...
I find the help files less the adequate on this subject and did a round of testing to fully understand the new concept.
I hope the attached document gives a far better explanation than the official "pamphlet".

If you have any custom modules setting Voicemail on/off, this feature is partially broken in R9.1.
You can set Voicemail On, no issues.
But if you try to set Voicemail Off, you will actually disable the entire account in VMPro.
If you run the feature, you would have to use the VMPro Client>...

It has been an exciting year for many of us. [banghead]
New products came out, careers changed, some put their hands on an IP Office for the first time. [hammer]
And I’m sure we all learned something new about the product...
As promised, here is a complete setup for logging lost calls with VMPro, including the option to call inn remotely and get the current or earlier counts read back to you.
You need a little skills in VMPro, not much, and a DB Licenses (That's probably going to be free in R9.1)
Enjoy, it's free...
Today Tek-Tips Management launched a forum for IPOCC.

I found a few critical bugs in the latest releases of the VMPro (8.1.9704.0 + 9.0.4.0.18)
Upgrading might destroy one or more of your Generic actions.
In particular this applies to the GET and SET functions for Users and Hunt Groups.
(DND, Absence, VM status, etc.)
Test performed on 11...
Time to share some more...[smile]
We are constantly under attack from hackers that want access to our phone lines!
Too many IPO's are virtually unprotected, hooked up to the internet directly with routing that welcomes everyone to the party.
Remember: Changing the password is simply not enough...
Since many have asked for this feature in the past, here you go:
A conference bridge that will limit the access to 10 -> The package

Looking back on posts from last winter, many asked for tips on configuring VMPro menus with irregular opening hours and remote access the recording menus.
One of my customers runs a ski resort, where the different departments open and close as they please (they have multiple jobs to attend to)...
Many have locked themselves out when downgrading form R9, left with the only option to grab a serial cable and go on-site to reset the security settings.
I did some lab work on the matter and found a way to prevent this form happening.
Before starting the downgrade,

Oh, for fox sake!
A couple of years ago I posted a help request on how to get DND/Absent text on the display of 37xx handsets.
Only thing I got was: Can't be done.
So I placed a GRIP with Avaya and somehow they got intrigued.
A while later some of you might have noticed that Extn#, Hunt Group/DND++ status...
Hi guys!
Got an ugly case hanging on my shoulders:
IPO 500 V1, 10 IP extn,IP 1616 phones local powered, 30 sip ch. (they got loads of inbound traffic + twinning on all extn).
Inbound are randomly silent when picking up. Agent sometimes hears rapid busy tone.
If the agent hangs up quickly...
