    Drawing smooth swirls

    Hello, I'm trying to re-draw the smooth swirls attached. I've traced the jpg using the pen tool in Illustrator - but if you scrutinize it*, you can see some of the lines aren't perfectly parallel. Does anyone know a better way of doing it? Many thanks, Rachel * really, really scrutinize...
