Hello, discovered an FXS port in Voice Gateway that is "unregistered". Attempting to reset/restart is not possible apparently.
First, generally how does a working port go unregistered and second how do I correct this?

Hello, not sure if "Auto-Answer is the correct term, but i have an 8851 with 3 lines and I'd like to answer any ringing line by simply picking up the handset, not having to press the line keys. The phone does have a sidecar attached.

Hello, could someone explain the difference between ACDN and Phantom? I know how to build each but never learned the purpose of either.
I've had to change some ACDNs to Phantoms or vice-versa after they quit functioning properly in their original states.

Greetings, suddenly we are unable to dial a local exchange. The call routes to our switchboard operator and they can make the call with no problem. I dial 9, and the seven digits and i get the switchboard. Other local exchanges seem to be okay.

Just an update.....I finally figured out after many a post that I didn't have the correct route assigned to an ICI key.
If I would have printed out a complete LTM like jaxuser asked me to I may have seen the error much sooner.

Hi Group, I would like to know if there is any rhyme or reason in assignment of ICI keys. Can multiple routes be assigned to the same ICI key?
And are these keys interactive? Does the attendant need to press these keys for any reason on the 2250 console?
We have an application built for our central scheduling. The initial greeting allows callers to choose 1 for local scheduler or 2 for regional scheduler.
My problem is that if the caller does not choose either option they are routed to the attendant "0".

Hello, I received a report from employee that when making outbound calls the destination is seeing our company name and employee DID, not her name.
ex:
Key 0 SCR 1234 2
CPND JANE,SMITH
Destination sees:

Hello, our facility utilizes an Interalia recorder for announcements such as:
"All operators busy", "You have dialed a non-working number", etc.
Currently if I call the switchboard and both operators are busied out or on an active call, I do not hear the "All operators busy" message, just ring...
Cellular calls made to our 81C take a long time to connect (20 + secs??). Once destination picks up, there is a 5-6 sec lag during conversation.
This only happens if the call originates from the cellphone. If we call the cell phone there is no problem.

Hi, I'd like to know if it is possible to insert a "1" automatically after dialing the ACOD. I'm asked to have callers be able to dial ACOD and then 10 digits.....they wouldn't dial a 1 first.
