I have an IP Office IP 500, ver 6.0 (8). The system is licensed for VMPRO. Is it understood that this IP500 will only support VM Pro 6.0? Would there be any compatibility between the IP500 ver 6.0(8) and the VM Pro 8.0?

Does anyone have any experience with any kind of networking between an NEC SV8100 and a BCM 50/450? I am looking for the best way to set up 4 digit dialing between the 2 systems whether it's by way of SIP, H323, QSIG, Netlink, etc. Any thoughts on the issue are appreciated!

If I put a 4.1 software cartridge into a MICS that has previously had 7.1 software installed, the MICS will not come up. Is there anyway to purge the MICS of that newer software. I have already tried to drain the system capacitor, but that does not work.
I am experiencing that the BCM50 with 1.0 software does not allow an analog station to answer an inbound CO call and transfer that call to a digital station unless the digital station first answers the intercom call from the analog station. Only supervised transfers are allowed, blind transfers...

Please clarify this for me. It is my understanding that an M3904, for example, will upgrade its firmware automatically when installed based on the system version of the Option PBX software. It will either upgrade the 3904 firmware or downgrade it, if it has the newest firmware, based on what the...
