We have a WAN domain environment and would like to have your opinion on mapping network drives or shortcuts to servers. Does mapped network drives slows down the login process?Option on LAN vs WAN servers.
We are experiencing a CMD.exe end task error when trying to log off from our Win 2003 Servers while connected with RD. You have to end tesk this before log off will take place. Could this be script related or what could be causing this?

We no longer have a WINS server but certain sites still have these settings applied when checking ipconfig /all. There no manual entries in host file or network connections on users computers. DHCP also not showing WINS entries. Where can this be coming from?
If i have my LAN and WiFi enable which connection will be used. Also what about the IP addressing seeing that both connection gets an IP address from DHCP?
