I am using a batch file - using the start command twice calling 2 different IPs
always goes to the same screen for both IE windows
would like 1st IE on display 1 & 2nd IE on display 2
any ideas
we are trying to migrate our users from Windows XP SP3 to Windows 7
I'm having a problem with standard window 7 users but this process works under XP
the user is trying to run an .exe from a mapped network location - this app does connect to a Linux Oracle database
the app returns a generic ORA...

the application in question works for users using Windows XP but not in Windows 7 SP1
note - if I copy the application to the Windows 7 user's desktop - the application does work
note - as a domain administrator - the application works on...
users can open the remote oracle database when using Windows XP - but user when upgraded to Windows 7 cannot
returns - run time error 440
unable to make connection ORA - 12560 - TNS protocol adapter error
however as a domain administrator using the same PC - I can open the remote...
I am trying to use SQL backup agent to backup up my database across servers to a Novell server.
I am using a UNC description (not using a mapped drive)
I can get to the server when using the run command
error message - Operating system error 67 (the network cannot be found)

Hi - I am new to Clipper & trying to compile into an .exe file
- it a old program from 1995 I need to make changes to
- Clipper will compile & the documentation says to use Blinker next - possibly using a .LNK file
- does not work & I am not sure what to do next
- any suggestions
