we have four incoming sendmail devices (firewalls) two are public facing while two are in a dmz. strange problem, emails that go through the public facing sendmail, get sent to exchange in html format (no problem) when these same emails are sent through dmz sendmail, they get sent to exchange...
I am not a vb scripter by no means. I have a text file of IP addresses and I would like to append this file to say something like:
We should block 192.168.1.1 Please do this now.
The text file has the IP addresses like so:
192.168.1.1
192.168.1.2
User is able to connect to the application no issue but after 60 seconds, he is disconnected. trace shows the FIN packet is coming from the users workstation. Any ideas? Checked anti virus and local IDS (disabled)
I am having an issue with my sun box. i console in and try to vi files for basic configuration and they are all 'read only' even when i use :wq! i can not change any files. was suggested to me that i boot in single user with boot -s command but boot is not a valid command. any ideas?
Does anyone have white papers or documents pertaining to active/standby devices and how is may be considered a waste of money to have a standby unit 'sitting' there. Instead active/active is a better method.

i get a bunch of these type of messages in my syslog from various sources. is there a way i can 'drop' these connections versus deny and not log them to syslog? i got over 16k this weekend and a ticket for each one

i have just installed tacacs using Cisco ACS and installed it on a cluster 4500. works great on one but cant get it to work on the other...seems to be 'looking' for the tacacs server but cant get it to work....logs dont reveal much.

i manage 3 domains. A, B, and C. there is a global group in A that allows users to do stuff. i want to provide that same level of access to a user in domain B. how do i do that? i messes with the 'Security' tab but could not get that cross domain permissions.
