Just a guess, but if you are installing it from an ova file, then it's creating a new vm instance, which would have a different hardware identifier. A vm footprint is based on the server/nics, but then has a virtualization 'overlay' to it. If it didn't, how would you think you could install...- IrwinMFletcher
