There're are some "power" things I'd like to do with my emails, such as:
-Parsing them and exporting to a CSV file
-Sorting the emails into folders based on some rather complicated rules
Which is the best email "client" to use if i need to do things like this?
-It'd be nice to use gmail...
I want an program that keeps a log of the IP address in/out of the computer. Does anything like this exist? I know of ZoneAlarm, but I don't want a program that actually blocks IPs, just keeps a passive log of them.
I also want an program that keeps a log of all pop/smtp emails in/out of the...
I'm trying to download all the messages in my gmail account for backup. This is 1000s and 1000s of messages. But when I download them into my desktop client (I've tried both Outlook 2007 and Thunderbird 2.0) they only download emails in chunks of 300-400. Then I have to rehit "send/receive"...
I'm trying to geolocate an IP address: 75.83.156.16.
But when I enter it into various engines online, they yield a number of different results.
http://www.ipligence.com/geolocation
yields Palmdale, CA

yields Buena Park, CA...
My laptop was stolen out of my apartment a few weeks ago. It had Logmein, which is remote access software, installed. I've been monitoring my Logmein account regularly, and have seen the laptop come online 3 times now. I feel like I should be able to take advantage of this and track down the...
I have an interesting email problem.
First, I'm really sorry for the length of this question! But it's a totally riveting read I swear…
So I'm managing the email for an office of 3 people. Previously each person just had their own email address, and things were very simple. jon@bleh.com...
My start menu's "pinned" shortcut items got wiped somehow. (See image attachment for clarification of what I mean by "pinned" items).
I have a backup, so I should be able to restore them. The problem is I don't know where the files for the pinned items are stored. I know the Start Menu...
Ok, something weird and disturbing has started occurring on my computer. Approximately every 3 weeks or so my Application data and Apps folders just vanish without a trace (inside "C:\Documents and Settings\name\Local Settings"). I'll start Outlook and suddenly it can't find my Inbox, and I'll...
I've got a bunch of EPS and AI files on my computer, but no good way to browse through them at a good clip. Are there any programs that allow you to view EPS and AI files as thumbnails, and fairly rapidly?
I have this complicated vector image with a lot going on. I want to remove all of one color/make it transparent. But I can't figure out how to accomplish this! I can change all of that color using Edit Colors, but there's no option there to switch to the [None] color option, unfortunately...
I have some coupon codes I'd like to sell on Ebay. Usually when people are buying coupon codes they are looking to get them right away, and so I'd like to be able to accommodate that, but of course I don't want to just hang around my computer all day waiting for sales. So I'd like to set up an...
I'm trying to set up a Filter in Gmail to automatically respond with a certain "canned response" (new feature in gmail) any time I receive a "payment received" message from Paypal matching certain criteria. I want the response to go to the buyer. I thought this would happen by default, because...
I have a business with about 50 clients. SO much of my time is wasted filling out the same paper forms by hand over and over again. It'd be nice if there was a way to auto-populate these forms with data I have in my client database. But I have no idea on how to go about implementing this...
Hi, I receive email into a number of different addresses, but would like all my replies to automatically be sent from only one of those addresses. Is there a way to do this in any versions of Outlook? I'd prefer Outlook 2000 as that's what I've got, but I'll upgrade if need be. Or maybe I'll...
I want to underline a sentence, but I want the underline to increase gradually in thickness. i.e. it should be thinnest at the start of the sentence, and thickest at the end. Any way to do this in Illustrator? thanks!
So I've got an illustration I did. In it, some strokes are 1 pt, some 2 pt, some 3 pt. I'd like to increase them all by 1 pt. Is there a way to do this? Or do something similar to it?--that's the equivalent in function? thanks!
