    swapping DVD drive on Acer Aspire 5002 WLMi

    I would like to swap the old (IDE) DVD drive that came on my Acer Aspire 5002 WLMi laptop for a new HP/ LG GSA-T20L. Can anyone tell me if it's compatible and how do I remove my old DVD drive from my Acer? It's not obvious, like unscrew from underneath. Thank you.

    How can I install my legit Acer Win XP Home on a Dell?

    I lost my Acer laptop and am now using an old Dell with Win Me. I would like to install my legitimate Win XP Home on my Dell but the official disks that came with my Acer won't install on a non-Acer. I have all my license codes. Is there some way I can still do so? Thanks.
