Ok so at some point I think I may have lost it.. am having an issue with one particular station. when the ext is installed on the phone sometimes it would not take it and the phone would just beep at you. If it did take this station it would reboot. ok ready for this? once it reboots it comes up...
I am one of those that look at my station alarms all the time to find out if a phone is unplugged, moved etc.
now with more and more associates working from home and losing their desks and actual phones we have gone to softphone or just voicemail.

I need specific programming information on how to program the 4xxx setting file for the 'release' button to be a softkey.
also because I have several regions I need to be able to specifically set this for a certain location and IP addresses only.
I can't have all the 9620's...
Does anyone know how if possbile to program a login button on the first page of a 9620. They are willing to give up a call appearance for it but I do not know how.

I have acouple of users that when they log in hear that they have X voicemails and x emails. We do not have our users set up to receive emails. There most be a setting that these users got into but I can't find it to have it turned off.

We are on CM5.2 and have successfully installed several 9640 phones where the company logo pops up as a screen saver. I am not successful having the 9670 phones do that. I also am having problems with putting 9670 as the set type.

We have 4 regions currenly programmed and I had to replace the phone. The phone went back to the default region and I need to change it. Now the user has to dial the full 11 digits to call locally which is not needed when in the correct region.
We have MM Aria TUI and you press 2 to pause a message while reviewing it. I found a doc that states the default setting is set to 5 seconds then it automatically unpauses and continues with the message. I would like to increase the default setting. Any ideas??? thanks
We have Avaya 9640 phones and I was told that you can do voice dialing by pressing the contact button. I have gone into the 46xxx setting file and uncommented the VOX but it still is not working. Any suggestions??? thanks
On the phone TUI I have a user that logs into the mailbox and it is telling them that they have administrative messages. I don't know how to clear them from the TUI. I didn't know how a message gets tagged Administrative Message.
I have MM/MSS and I have a user that does not want his mailbox to take messages while he is out. I changed his mailbox to what I thought would work by selecting No to voicemail enabled and now I don't get his greeting anymore I get the company greeting. What am I missing? Thanks
Need to program remote, phantom, guest mailboxes that do not have PBX extensions. So when caller calls the pilot number and dials the mailbox number they hear the greeting and are able to leave a message.
