    why is an .ai file exported as .pdf showing up blank?

    I'm trying to export an .ai file as a .pdf. It goes through as if it's properly exporting, but then when I open the .pdf it shows up blank. I tried saving it as a .jpeg and .tiff file as well, and the same thing happened with both. Any ideas on how to make it ACTUALLY export?
